RAPID NeuroFascial Reset

How It Works

RAPID NeuroFascial Reset is a new neurologically-based, active therapeutic technique that addresses the Central Nervous System's role in relieving pain, tension, and restrictions in the body.

It is an evidence-based manual therapy technique that quickly and effectively eliminates pain and improves range of motion by directly addressing the nervous system's perception of threat and danger - the actual source of these problems in the body.

RAPID works by calming "nociceptive hyperactivity" in your nervous system. That's a fancy way of saying your bodyโ€™s pain alarm is being extra loud and sensitive. We get to the actual driver of your pain. And when your brain feels safe, it lets go.

Most painful conditions can be easily treated

with RAPID NFR, including:

headaches

back & neck pain

shoulder pain

migraines

whiplash

bursitis

concussions

frozen shoulder

tennis elbow

sciatica

arthritis

golfers elbow

shin splints

plantar fasciitis

bunions

strabismus

The Problem with Standard Treatment

Let us help you bounce back!

Most pain treatments work on the location of your pain. They massage the muscle, adjust the joint, or stretch the tissue. This is why they often provide temporary relief โ€” but not resolution.

RAPID works differently. It starts with a simple question: Why is your nervous system protecting this area in the first place?

The 7 Differences

  • Pinpoint Precision

  • Targets Hyperactivity

  • Uses Connective Tissues

  • Triggers "Substance P"

  • Calms the Nervous System

  • "Move it to Prove it"

  • Follows Neuroplasticity

RAPID doesn't force change โ€” it invites it. Your therapist uses precisely-directed depth and tension combined with specific patient movements. When the nervous system receives that new, safe input, it updates its outdated protective patterns.

Why RAPID Is Different

Pinpoint Precision, Not General Pressure

RAPID is highly focused. Most manual therapies apply broad strokes over muscle groups. RAPID uses targeted, millimeter-precise contact to locate the true source of nociceptive activity rather than simply treating the muscles reacting to it..

Targets Nociceptive Hyperactivity

Instead of chasing pain, RAPID identifies the drivers of pain โ€” areas where the nervous system is sending excessive protective signals. Stimulating these zones calms the sensory input to the brain, allowing tone, movement, and pain responses to normalize.

Works Through Periosteum and Connective Tissues

We avoid muscles entirely. The periosteum and fascia are rich in mechanoreceptors and nociceptors. This makes them the bodyโ€™s most powerful communication interface. By engaging here, RAPID works directly with the nervous system to create rapid changes in pain and proprioception.

Triggers "Substance P"

Targeting these tissues and the receptors within them promotes local Substance P release, which initially heightens awareness but then helps resolve neurogenic inflammation and restore proper fluid dynamics. This natural process supports tissue repair, enhances mobility, and leads to longer-lasting results without aggressive manipulation.

Calms The Nervous System

We donโ€™t โ€œflushโ€ the tissue - the nervous system does that. RAPID doesnโ€™t rely on mechanically pushing fluids through the tissue. Instead, by calming the nervous system and improving tone regulation, the body automatically restores healthy blood and lymphatic flow. The flush happens because the brain says itโ€™s safe to do so.

"Move It To Prove It..."

We encourage activity after treatment - or โ€œMove it to prove it.โ€ Movement after RAPID reinforces safety and function within the nervous system. Encouraging clients to move right away helps integrate the new neural pattern and solidify long-term change. The brain learns best through movement - we use that to our advantage.

Follows the Principles of Neuroplasticity...

Neuroplasticity - the brainโ€™s ability to rewire itself based on new input - is the foundation of RAPID. Every session provides the nervous system with fresh, meaningful sensory information that helps it update outdated protective patterns. This is why RAPID changes can be both immediate and lasting: weโ€™re helping the nervous system learn something new about safety, movement, and pain.

What To Expect

Every session combines examination and treatment...

Your RAPID Therapist palpates the tissues with their hands to assess the texture, tightness, and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. When they find a hypersensitive area, they treat it by combining precisely-directed depth and tension with very specific patient movements.

RAPID NeuroFascial Reset is oil-free:

Please come to your appointment dressed in (or ready to change into) loose, comfortable clothing or athletic wear. Treatment is applied through your clothes, even jeans!

RAPID treatments can be uncomfortable or intense:

This happens because of the direct neurological stimulation that is restoring the system to balance. Soreness may last a day or two after treatment, but clients often experience less pain in just a few treatments.

RAPID and your medical history:

RAPID therapists often have extensive medical history intake forms and ask detailed questions before beginning your treatment. This is because the Central Nervous System controls the entire body - you might be surprised which details of your history hold the key to unlocking your pain!

You may be asked about injuries (great and small), surgeries and other medical procedures, history of trauma, motor vehicle accidents, concussions (at any age), scars, broken bones, and your overall lifestyle. All of these things (even the seemingly minor) combine to tell the story of your pain.

Why choose RAPID

Because it works, and it works FAST!

Painful conditions that have plagued clients for years often disappear. Acute injuries become more manageable and may heal faster, and normal activity can be resumed.

If you've tried everything else, or you're just ready to get out of pain, RAPID may just be what you've been looking for. Why wait any longer? Book your appointment now.
